Window Display Contest at Patricia Sparks

I did my first window display and I had so much fun!  The display is part of a 12 month contest  at Patricia Sparks on Brookside here in Tulsa.  A different local artist does the window each month.  Customers can go to the store and vote for their favorite window.  In addition, 10% of profits for the year go to Tulsa Girls Art School.
Since I had the month of June, I decided that I wanted to make my design bright and happy.  Butterflies came to mind first.  I worked on 5 original designs for about a month.  Those designs were used for my butterfly cutouts as well as plain colored card stock.  I hand cut what seemed like a thousand butterflies then sewed them together to make giant garland.
The next part was the mannequins.  I thought they should be dressed all in white but they needed a little something special.  How about super fun and bright floral hats?  Well, why not?
The end result is quite fun!  A customer told me that the window was "delightful and happy".  I think I achieved my goal.  What do you think?  If you like it go on in and vote for me.  The store is located at 37th and Peoria on the west side of the street.
